  • Profile info (job seekers): phone, location, work history, education, skills, expected salary, links to LinkedIn/GitHub/portfolio, and any resume file you upload.
  • Company info (employers): company name, contact email/phone, address, industry, website, social profiles.
  • Activity data: applications submitted, jobs posted, messages exchanged through the platform, notifications viewed.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device info, and pages visited (for security and analytics).

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To match job seekers with relevant jobs and employers with relevant candidates.
  • To deliver emails you request (verification, notifications, application updates).
  • To improve the platform, detect fraud, and enforce our Terms of Service.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Employers — when a job seeker applies, the employer receives their profile and CV.
  • Job seekers — when an employer contacts them, the seeker sees the employer's message and company details.
  • Service providers — email delivery (Brevo), hosting (Hostinger), and error monitoring — bound by confidentiality.
  • Legal authorities — only when required by law.

4. Your Rights

  • Access: request a copy of your data.
  • Correction: update your profile at any time.
  • Deletion: request deletion of your account by emailing support@megavanta.com.
  • Opt-out: unsubscribe from non-essential emails.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, rate limiting, and access controls. However, no method is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymise personal data within 30 days, except where legally required to retain it.

7. Children

MegaVanta is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced by email or on the site.
